PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a decontamination method of radioactive cesium contaminated soil which can isolate, adsorb and collect radioactive cesium combining strongly with contaminated soil by a short-time solution process with high efficiency.;SOLUTION: A method includes: a step S01 isolating radioactive cesium from radioactive cesium contaminated soil 1 by irradiating microwave to a first contaminated soil dispersion 3 acquired by mixing the radioactive cesium contaminated soil 1 containing the radioactive cesium and a water solution 2 containing citric acid and magnesium; a step S02 obtaining a first radioactive effluent 5 which is a liquid phase component containing isolated radioactive cesium 4 and a first de-cesium soil 6 which is a solid phase component by solid liquid separation of the first contaminated soil dispersion 3 irradiated microwave; and a step S03 making vermiculite 7 adsorb the irradiated radioactive cesium 4 by making the first radioactive effluent 5 contact the vermiculite 7.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT
