Diffusion prevention method of decontamination methods and radioactive cesium of radioactive cesium contaminated soil

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a decontamination method of soil contaminated with radioactive cesium and a containment (migration suppression) method of the radioactive cesium, capable of removing and preventing diffusion of the radioactive cesium and satisfying all the following four items: 1) suppression of dust or slurry at removing topsoil; 2) minimum amount of the topsoil needed to be removed; 3) maintaining an effect of suppressing generation of dust or slurry for a long period of time; and 4) migration suppression of the radioactive cesium for a long period of time.SOLUTION: A decontamination method of soil contaminated with radioactive cesium includes: scattering a clay fine particle suspension liquid and a polyion complex aqueous solution to the soil contaminated with radioactive cesium; and removing the topsoil of the soil. By the effect of the clay fine particles and the polyion complex, migration of radioactive cesium into soil depth can be suppressed, and generation of dust or slurry including the clay fine particles can also be suppressed to prevent diffusion of the radioactive cesium.
