PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bill storage device capable of storing gift vouchers and the like together with bank bills, a program, and a selling data processor.SOLUTION: The bill storage device includes a take-in part, an identification part, a storage part, a reject part, specifying means, and paper piece storage means. The take-in part takes in paper pieces into a housing. The identification part identifies whether the paper pieces taken in by the take-in part are bank bills. The storage part stores the paper pieces according to a result of the identification by the identification part. The reject part removes the paper pieces that have determined not to be bank bills by the identification part, from a route from the identification part to the storage part. The specifying means specifies the number of the paper pieces that have been determined not to be bank bills by the identification part but are not removed by the reject part. The paper piece storage means stores, in the storage part, the paper pieces determined not to be bank bills by the identification part of the number specified by the specifying means, without allowing the reject part to remove the paper pieces.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
