PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an abrasion test method in which an abrasion test can be easily and accurately performed and also to provide a driving test road used for the abrasion test.;SOLUTION: A tire abrasion test method includes a driving step of driving a tire T on a driving test road equipped with a recess 4 into which the tire T is fitted. The driving step includes an idle step of making the tire T idle by driving the tire T fitted into the recess 4.
