PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure steady propagation of ultrasonic waves between an ultrasonic probe and a subject and enable the ultrasonic probe to be readily slid toward the subject.;SOLUTION: A slide mechanism for ultrasonic probes is equipped with belt-shaped sheets and at least two rollers. The rollers, arranged inside the sheets, are intended to shift the sheets in the scanning direction of ultrasonic checkup.
