Summary form only given. It is necessary to know the ultrasonic field properties and characterization of ultrasonic probe to meet the development of industry. But, the ultrasonic field distribution of ultrasonic straight probe with solid horn in working medium is without theoretical formula so far. In addition, using numerical simulation method must give the inner physical parameters of probe. Both that the above are difficulties to overcome for a complete packaged probe. In this paper, we assume that the end circle of the solid horn in straight probe is similar to piezoelectric wafer. And the ultrasonic field distribution formula is introduced as the formula to describe the sound field of ultrasonic straight probe with solid horn. Through comparison of theoretical calculation and experimental results, it is found that two parameters of the ultrasonic pressure on the central axis and the near-field range is able to express with the formula. But for semi-spread angle can not express into formula. The study result is benefit to describe probe performance and ultrasonic field characterization in ultrasonic straight probe calibration.
