PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic back washing sand filtration device of a gravity type with an elevated reservoir in which a high-altitude reservoir for supplying filtration treated water to each breeding aquarium is not needed to install separately.;SOLUTION: An automatic back washing sand filtration device has an elevated reservoir 1 for storing filtered water, a back-washing water tank 2 disposed in the lower part of the elevated reservoir 1 and storing the water in the back washing, a filtering chamber 3 disposed in the lower part of the back-washing water tank 2, a treated water tank 4 disposed in the lower part of the filtering chamber 3, and a filter material 10 disposed between the filtering chamber 3 and the treated water tank 4. When the treated water is stored, it is supplied to the back-washing water tank and the elevated reservoir 1 and stored therein via the treated water tank 4 after the water supplied to the filtering chamber 3 is filtered by the filter material 10. When the treated water is supplied, the water stored in the elevated reservoir 1 is supplied by gravity. In the back washing of the filter material 10, the water stored in the back-washing water tank 2 is fed to the treated water tank 4 by the gravity and washes the filter material 10, and then discharged to the outside via the filtering chamber 3.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT
