PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base material with a functional layer, which can suppress winding lag or loosening from occurring when rewinding a base material with a functional layer, and further can suppress the functional layer from being damaged, a manufacturing method of the base material with a functional layer, and a roll-shaped base material with a functional layer, which can suppress the functional layer from being damaged.;SOLUTION: A base material 10 with a functional layer provided with a functional layer 2 on the base material 1, in which (1) a knurling part 5 is provided on a part of a front surface of the functional layer 2, or (2) the knurling part 5 is provided between the base material 1 and the functional layer 2, and a surface of the functional layer 2 has a protruded part 7 that traces a shape of the knurling part 5, or (3) the functional layer 2 has a laminated structure formed by laminating a plurality of layers, the knurling part 5 is provided between layers constituting the functional layer 2, and among the layers constituting the functional layer 2, a surface of the functional layer 2 located most distanced from the base material 1 has the protruded part 7 that traces a shape of the knurling part 5.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5;COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT
