ASCENDING/DESCENDING ASSISTING DEVICE FOR STAIR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate descending using a body weight of a user without the need of a power source, and not to increase burden even when obtaining a large assisting force in ascending.;SOLUTION: An ascending/descending assisting device for stairs includes a slider part 36 along a stair body 3, an ascending/descending guidance part 30 for guiding ascending/descending of a balance weight 39, and an ascending/descending assisting device body 11 joined to the slider part 36. The body 11 includes a running board 13, a support post 12 as a grip part, and a grip part 14 for left hand, including a lever 22 for restraining/releasing upwardly moving. A wire rope 44 connected to the slider part 36 is connected to the balance weight 39 via a sheave 40 above the ascending/descending guidance part 30, and a coil spring 47 is interposed between the upper ends of the balance weight 39 and the ascending/descending guidance part 30. The balance weight 39 and the coil spring 47 are so formed that when the body 11 is upward movable, and an external force is not applied by a user, the body 11 moves upward, and when the user rides on in a state that the body 11 is near the uppermost stage, descending is started, and a descending speed is reduced close to zero near the bottom.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT
