PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust heat recovery system in which a starting time for a steam turbine can be shortened.SOLUTION: This invention provides an exhaust heat recovery system 300 comprising an exhaust gas economizer 10 for generating major steam; a steam separator 20 into which the major steam is guided from the exhaust gas economizer 10; a steam turbine 30 driven by major steam; a governor valve 35 for adjusting a flow rate of the major steam flowing from the steam separator 20 into the steam turbine 30; a steam dump valve 60 connected to the steam separator 20; a pressure sensor 27 for detecting a first pressure that is a pressure of the major steam of the steam separator 20; and a control part 90 for controlling the steam dump valve 60 to become an opened state when a pressure of the major steam outputted from the pressure sensor 27 becomes more than a set pressure. The control part 90 sets a set pressure that is changed in response to the first pressure in such a way that the set pressure may become more than a first pressure and less than a second pressure having the first pressure added with a specified pressure.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
