PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sampling device capable of sampling a high-viscosity fluid material such as soil cement, at the same time suppressing clogging by a part of the fluid material.;SOLUTION: A sampling device 10A is for sampling a part of a fluid material in a ground, and includes: a cylinder 11A closed on both ends and having a sampling hole 12A and a ventilation hole 15A formed at separate locations in an axial direction; a piston 41A disposed inside the cylinder 11A and movable in the axial direction; a protective case 21A connected to the top end of the cylinder 11A; an actuator 51A driving the piston 41A in the axial direction; and a check valve 16A provided on the ventilation hole 15A. The actuator 51A is a hydraulic cylinder having a cylinder tube 52A inside the protective case 21A and a piston rod moving forward/backward from/into the cylinder tube.
