PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decide fingering in which user's performance characteristics are taken when determining fingering on a stringed instrument such as a guitar.;SOLUTION: A fingering decision program according to the present invention allows an information processing unit to execute coefficient setting processing for setting a performance characteristic coefficient, candidate decision processing for deciding, for one performance sound in performance information read out in readout processing, one to a plurality of position candidates indicating a position of a finger on a fingerboard, position load calculation processing for calculating, for a position candidate determined in the candidate decision processing, a position load using the performance characteristic coefficient set in the coefficient setting processing, and position decision processing for calculating an adjacent inter-performance-sound movement load using the position load and deciding, based upon the calculated load, one position candidate among position candidates for a performance sound as a position.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2018,JPO&INPIT
