Sequence conversion and signal amplification DNA having poly DNA spacer sequence and detection method using them

A method for detecting a target nucleic acid in a sample is disclosed. The method includes contacting the sample with a sequence conversion oligonucleotide in the presence of a polymerase and an endonuclease. Also disclosed is a method of detecting a target nucleic acid in a sample, wherein the sample is contacted with a sequence conversion oligonucleotide and a signal amplification oligonucleotide in the presence of a polymerase and an endonuclease. The present disclosure also provides compositions and kits comprising such sequence conversion and signal amplification oligonucleotides.
