PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a power factor to be acquired without the need for executing a special program for test.SOLUTION: A parallel processing device 10 comprises a storage unit 11a and a computation unit 11b. The storage unit 11a stores, for each of nodes 12, 13, 14 that execute a job in parallel, a power factor that is used in calculating power consumption per node that corresponds to execution of the job. The computation unit 11b updates, when executing a job in parallel using the nodes 12, 13, 14, a power factor per node on the basis of power consumption at the time of execution of a first job, among a plurality of jobs to be executed, whose difference in power consumption per node is smaller than a prescribed value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
