PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a process of manufacturing a stator of a frameless rotary electric machine.SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a frameless rotary electric machine includes:, after preheating a stator body 10 having a stator winding 2 on a stator core 1, while rotating the stator body 10 in a circumferential direction about an axis S, impregnating a coil end 2b by dripping with the insulating varnish V and impregnating an outer circumferential surface of the stator core 1 by dripping with an insulating varnish V1; and curing by heating the insulating varnishes V and V1 and further cooling them down. Thereby, it becomes unnecessary to paint the outer peripheral surface of the stator core 1 by a separate process.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
