PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power-line carrier communication apparatus of simple configuration in which communication error is reduced by reducing the impact of noise superposed on the power line, when performing data communication by using the power line as communication lines.;SOLUTION: A power-line carrier communication apparatus includes an active noise canceller for sending an estimated noise, obtained by learning the noise component superposed on a power line, to the power line via a transmission unit. A canceller control unit for controlling the operation of the active noise canceller declares canceller on when the noise power exceeds a first specified value N1, and stops data transmission from each power-line carrier communication apparatus over a certain time, and sets the active noise canceller to enable by learning the noise component in this period. When the noise power goes below a second specified value N2, the canceller control unit that has notified of the canceller declaration notifies of the canceller off declaration, and sets the active noise canceller to disable.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT
