PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ground fixed-type shelter capable of bearing a tsunami impact, and a house having the shelter accommodated therein or a house having the shelter juxtaposed therewith.SOLUTION: A ground fixed-type shelter is structured to be capable of bearing the water flow and water pressure of a tsunami by having a three-dimensional shape of a watertight hollow structured shelter body formed into: (i) a spherical body or approximately spherical body; (ii) a cylindrical body or approximately cylindrical body whose both ends are sealed; (iii) an approximately spherical convex polyhedron; or (iv) a dome body or dome-shaped convex polyhedron. Further, the shelter is accommodated inside a house or is juxtaposed with the house so that a person in the house can immediately evacuate to the inside of the shelter.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
