PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sample pretreatment system, a sample pretreatment cartridge, and a sample pretreatment method which can shorten the time required for a pretreatment and can correspond to both a lot of plasma and a little plasma.SOLUTION: A sample pretreatment system 100 is equipped with a reagent container-holding part 121 which holds a reagent container 24 for containing a first reagent comprising magnetic particles to adsorb nucleic acids in a plasma sample, and a reagent container 28 for containing a second reagent to separate the nucleic acids adsorbed by the magnetic particles; and a reaction part 300 in which a plurality of reaction containers 11 are arranged and the reaction of the sample comprising a plasma sample and a first reagent is promoted in each reaction vessel 11. A control part 701 controls a dispensing section 200 so as to dispense a plasma sample and a first reagent into a plurality of reaction containers 11, to dispense the sample from each of the plurality of reaction containers 11 into a washing container 12, to suction and remove the liquid component in the washing container 12, to dispense the sample from the washing container 12 into an elution container 13, and to dispense a second reagent into the elution container 13.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
