PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing method of a monitoring device to a radioactive material storage container capable of shortening a time required for laying each cable connected to a pressure detector and a temperature detector, respectively.SOLUTION: In a storage area of a radioactive material storage facility, when a monitoring device having a pressure detector for detecting an internal pressure, a temperature detector for detecting an outer surface temperature and the similar equipment is fixed to a radioactive material storage container storing a plurality of spent fuel aggregates, a cable tray 15 inside of which a cable 13 connected to the pressure detector and a cable 14A connected to the temperature detector are laid is arranged along a side surface of the radioactive material storage container in the axial direction. A pair of magnet holders 43 attached to the cable tray 15 and including a switch lever 17 turned-OFF is arranged at the side surface of the radioactive material storage container, and after that, the switch lever 17 is rotated to a position of ON. Each magnet holder 43 is fixed to the side surface of the radioactive material storage container and, as a result, the cable tray 15 is fixed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
