PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illumination light color estimation device capable of selecting an appropriate method for estimating illumination light color according to characteristics of an image.;SOLUTION: The illumination light color estimation device for estimating an illumination light color of an input image, includes: plural units of illumination light color estimation means each of which has a different application condition of image characteristics when estimating an illumination light color from an image; and an image characteristic determination means that identifies characteristics of the input image, selects a unit of illumination light color estimation means in which the identified image characteristics match with the application condition, and causes the selected illumination light color estimation means to estimate the illumination light color.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT
