The present invention provides multiple systems and methods for isolating one or more sensors in an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). The method may comprise providing a UAV that includes a housing that forms a central body of the UAV. The UAV may further include a first section of the central body having one or more electrical components that are (1) disposed within and (2) configured to affect the operation of the UAV. Further, the UAV may include a second section of the central body that is separated from the first section so that the pressure in the second section is not affected by the pressure in the first section. Further, the method may comprise placing one or more sensors in the second compartment of the UAV.
