How to use Peripheral Component Interconnect Express (PCIe) device in virtual environment

A method of using a Peripheral Component Interconnect Express (PCIe) device in a virtual environment is disclosed. Two operating systems run on one primary device. One operating system acts as a guest in the virtual environment within the primary device. The peripheral device is connected to the primary device via a wireless connection. In an exemplary embodiment, the wireless connection is a PCIe bridge. The host operating system is directly associated with the hardware elements of the memory element and the primary device. The guest operating system interacts with the hardware elements of the memory element and the peripheral device. By using the PCIe radio link, the guest operating system will be able to interface with peripheral device elements with relatively little latency.
