PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To identify an input device touching a touch panel, without relying on the screen resolution or screen size of a smart device.SOLUTION: An input device identifying method includes: a step S01 of storing two-point distance information which is a length based on a predetermined criterion, and selected from touch points of an input device which touches a touch panel at three or more point, on a memory; a step 02 of acquiring a touch coordinate point generated by a touch of the input device touching the touch panel; a step 03 of calculating two-point distance data from all combinations of the touch coordinate points; a step 04 of extracting two-point distance data which meets the predetermined criterion in the two-point distance information, from the two-point distance data; a step 05 of calculating similarity information of a shape formed by the touch points of the input device, on the basis of the two-point distance information and the two-point distance data; and a step 06 of identifying the input device touching the touch panel, on the basis of the similarity information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
