Using symbolic input timing for password verification

A multidimensional approach can be used to verify passwords. In addition to requiring correct password entry, the timing at which the password symbol is entered can be determined and stored and compared to the timing value. Even if the correct password is entered, authentication may still fail if the password symbol is not entered according to the required timing.
