PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for outputting a more precise location result.;SOLUTION: A lightning position locating system according to the invention comprises: multiple receiving stations that detect an electromagnetic wave due to lightning and transmit observation data; and a lightning position locating device that receives the observation data from the respective receiving stations and locates the lightning position. And the lightning position locating device executes processes of: using the received observation data to locate a position of multiple lightning strokes; removing the lightning stroke opposite in polarity to the first lightening stroke from the lightning strokes; and outputting a location result after the lightning stroke opposite in polarity to the first lightning stroke is removed.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3;COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT
