PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an application method of a dust collector capable of collecting dust with high dust collection efficiency.SOLUTION: In an application method of a dust collector equipped with a collector body including a treatment chamber, an introduction port opening in the treatment chamber and introducing a gas, an exhaust port opening in the treatment chamber and exhausting the gas to be treated and a filer being disposed in the treatment chamber and separating the introduction port from the exhaust port and piping attached to the introduction port, the gas is supplied to the treatment chamber via a gas supply pipe in a state that the gas supply pipe is separated from a part of the introduction port side of the piping and inserted into the piping so as a tip part thereof to reach the inside of the treatment chamber.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
