PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealant for a liquid crystal dropping method that exhibits high adhesion performance even when an application area is small, is excellent in dispersibility of filler, and has high moisture resistance reliability.;SOLUTION: A sealant for a liquid crystal dropping method contains a filler (A), a radical polymerizable monomer (B), and a radical initiator (C). The shortest diameter or the volume average particle diameter of the filler (A) is 1 nm to 500 nm; the weight of a polymerization inhibitor (M) with respect to that of the radical polymerizable monomer (B) is less than 0.05 weight%; the content of a polymer (BP) in the radical polymerizable monomer (B) is 5 weight% or less based on the total amount of the radical polymerizable monomer (B).;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT
