PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve scoring efficiency in sideline problems.SOLUTION: A sideline problem scoring apparatus 10 executes a scoring method including the steps of: setting a frame enclosing a part or the entire of a character string on an image including a character string; calculating a determination range based on the set frame; acquiring a handwriting which is input by handwriting; and determining whether or not the handwriting is positioned within the calculated determination range based on the position of the frame and the position of the handwriting input by handwriting.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
