PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotor for a rotating machine capable of suppressing the occurrence of a leakage flux and eddy currents, and a method for manufacturing the same.;SOLUTION: Since first and second low permeability parts 41 and 42 are formed on the periphery of a slot 15, a leakage flux from a permanent magnet 13 can be restrained. Since the first low permeability part 41 and the second permeability part 42 are shifted for formation so that they do not overlap with each other when seen from the axial direction of a rotor core 12, even when an insulating film is broken on the first and second low permeability parts 41 and 42, the insulating state can be ensured because the conductivity in the axial direction between the first permeability part 41 and the second permeability part 42 is not made and the occurrence of an eddy current can be restrained.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
