Use of unmodified calcium silicate powder as antibacterial agent

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin molding composition for manufacturing interior building material which exerts antibacterial properties with safety at low cost and maintains the antibacterial properties with stability for a long period.SOLUTION: In manufacturing a resin molding for interior construction material of a building, the use of a resin composition of vinyl chloride resin formulated with calcium silicate powder achieves antibacterial properties similar to those of antibacterial metal material prepared for exerting antibacterial properties, without degradation of the performance required for interior construction material of a building.
