PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device with which it is possible to detect a physical change synchronized to the flow rate of a gas, etc., from the outside of a flow rate measurement device such as a gas meter stably with good S/N.;SOLUTION: The gas meter comprises: a gas meter body 1 having gas inlet and outlet; gas accommodation chambers 10a, 10b, provided in the gas meter body, for temporarily accommodating a gas flowing in through the gas inlet and outlet; movable parts 111a, 111b, provided in the gas accommodation chamber, for reciprocating upon receiving the flow of a gas in the gas accommodation chamber, and formed in part with a magnetic material; and a magnetic sensor 20, provided in the exterior of the gas meter body, for detecting the change of a magnetic field due to the reciprocal motion of the movable parts in the gas accommodation chamber.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2;COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT
