PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a compound capable of forming an image excellent in light resistance and ozone resistance while having a high chroma; and a coloring composition, an inkjet recording ink and the like that contain the compound.SOLUTION: There is provided a compound represented by the formula (1) in the figure. A composition containing the compound is useful for a color filter, a toner, a transfer ink, and the like.
