PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the consumption of communication resources when a transmission delay time is measured.SOLUTION: A signal transmission device for delay measurement comprises: a reception unit for receiving a signal; a transmission signal generation unit for generating a transmission signal that has stored reception time information indicating reception time when the reception unit received the signal; a differential time calculation unit for calculating a differential time obtained by subtracting the reception time indicated by the reception time information from present time; a differential time reflection unit for storing information indicating the differential time calculated by the differential time calculation unit in the transmission signal generated by the transmission signal generation unit; and a transmission unit for transmitting the transmission signal in which the differential time reflection unit has stored the information indicating the differential time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
