PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for treating ammonia-containing exhaust gas, in which the ammonia in the exhaust gas, discharged from, for example, poultry and livestock industry and has a bad smell, can be utilized effectively, and to provide a method for utilizing the ammonia-containing exhaust gas, and a method for producing cement by utilizing the ammonia-containing exhaust gas.SOLUTION: The method for treating ammonia-containing exhaust gas comprises: a recovery step of absorbing/fixing ammonia on a fixing agent from the ammonia-containing exhaust gas, discharged from poultry and livestock industry or the like and has the bad smell; and a combustion treatment step of heating the ammonia-fixed fixing agent to separate ammonia gas therefrom and making the separated ammonia gas pass through a combustion furnace or a cement firing furnace so that NOx in the burnt exhaust gas is reduced and the gas component to be recovered together with the ammonia is burned. The method for utilizing the ammonia-containing exhaust gas, in which the amount of NOx in the burnt exhaust gas is decreased by utilizing the ammonia-containing exhaust gas, and the method for producing cement by utilizing the ammonia-containing exhaust gas are also provided.
