PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for manufacturing a coil spring in which the coil spring for orthodontic treatment having the uniform spring constant in the range of 100±30 N/m can be readily manufactured.;SOLUTION: A wire winding shaft 20 is inserted into a central hole 14a of a male screw 14 screwed in a female screw 13a of a supporting member 13 and an insertion hole 12b of a supporting member 12, one end of the wire winding shaft 20 is fixed to the supporting member 12 by a wire winding shaft fixing member 21, and one end of a wire 16 is fixed in the wire fixing part 12a of the supporting member 12. The male screw 14 is rotated by a rotating mechanism while applying a predetermined tension to the other end of the wire 16 by a tensioning mechanism via the wire guide unit 15b of a wire guide member 15.
