PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a food and drink ordering system allowing customers to make ordering operation capable of recommending foods and drinks to the customers at an appropriate timing.SOLUTION: The food and drink ordering system includes a food and drink recommendation unit that measures the time elapsed based on the respective food and drink ordering terminals, determines appropriate timing to recommend foods and drinks to the customer on each food and drink ordering terminal based on the elapsed time, and controls a display unit of the food and drink ordering terminal at the determined timing to display menus of recommended foods and drinks. The food and drink ordering terminal includes a control unit to control the ordering terminal to display menus of foods and drinks to allow the customers to select and determine desired foods and drinks and to transmit a piece of order information on the determined foods and drinks to the network.
