PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spatial coordinate measurement instrument and a spatial coordinate measurement method which are capable of accurate measurement of spatial coordinates in an environment of air fluctuation and reduce the influence on measurement accuracy of an assembling error of a target.SOLUTION: A spatial coordinate measurement instrument 1 includes a laser light source 2, irradiation angle change means 3, a light receiving unit 5, control means 7, distance measurement means 6, and arithmetic means 8. The spatial coordinate measurement instrument 1 further includes imaging means 9 which images a target Tg, image processing means 10 which detects the position of the target Tg by image processing on an image captured by the imaging means 9, and image processing result reflection means 11 which reflects the position of the target Tg detected by the image processing means 10, on the calculation result of spatial coordinates of the target Tg calculated by the arithmetic means 8.
