PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a possibility that a things-left-behind occurs.SOLUTION: In one embodiment, a portable communication device (for example, a portable telephone) 10 comprises: a reader that reads tag data on a radio tag (RFID) 50; and a control part. The reader reads the tag data on the radio tag 50 provided in articles 2a to 2n existing in a readable range. The control part extracts the tag data on the radio tag 50 provided in the articles 2a to 2n to be possessed on the basis of schedule data associating a schedule with the articles 2a to 2n to be used in the schedule, and detects a things-left-behind by collating the extracted tag data with the tag data read by the reader.
