PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dimming material having extremely short time from the application of voltage to the completion of change in light transmissivity, a dimming sheet, an electrolyte sheet forming the dimming material, a dimming body made using the dimming material, an interlayer for glass laminate, and a glass laminate made using the interlayer for glass laminate.SOLUTION: A dimming material includes an electrolyte layer, and an electrochromic layer including an electrochromic compound. The electrolyte layer includes a support electrolyte, a binder resin, and a compound represented by the following formula (1).
