PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorant biodegradation promotion material capable of efficiently deodoranting and biodegrating the slurry-shaped or semi-solid object to be treated mainly made of the excreta of an animal only by immersing the same into the object to be treated.SOLUTION: The deodorant biodegradation promotion material comprises: a first functional material made of a composite obtained by contacting granular charcoal and iron; a second material obtained by carrying facultative anaerobe on a porous body adhered with a granular carrier; and a third functional material made only by a far-infrared radiation material radiating far-infrared radiation in a wavelength region of 2 to 24 μm itself or the one including the far-infrared radiation material.
