PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hinge cap capable of preventing suctioning of a coolant.SOLUTION: A coolant suction prevention cap includes: an upper lid 4 having a top wall 17, the upper lid 4 where a pressure adjustment cylinder 20 is provided on an inner surface 17a of the top wall 17; and a cap body 2 where an annular groove 13 for storing at least a tip part 20a of the pressure adjustment cylinder 20 is formed. The upper lid 4 and the cap body 2 are coupled by a hinge 3. When the upper lid 4 is closed, the pressure adjustment cylinder 20 divides the interior of the upper lid 4 into a first chamber 23 positioned at the outer side thereof and a second chamber 24 positioned at the inner side thereof and is elastically deformed by a pressure difference between the first chamber 23 and the second chamber 24.
