PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a poly-capillary lens that removes a Kβ ray without using a Kβ ray cutting filter or a monochromator in a parallel beam optical system of an X-ray diffraction device.SOLUTION: In a poly-capillary lens, a large number of poly-capillaries 2 are housed in a cylindrical housing 3. Both ends of the cylindrical housing 3 are sealed with thin metal films 4 and 5 that absorb a Kβ ray, and an inside of the cylindrical housing 3 is kept hermetically sealed. One side of the poly-capillaries 2 is bent at a prescribed curvature radius toward an X-ray source (target 11) so that an X-ray emitted from the X-ray source is taken in at a large solid angle, and a parallel beam is obtained at an outlet of the other side. The Kβ ray is removed by the thin metal films 4 and 5 at both the ends of the cylindrical housing 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
