PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a program for actualizing a musical performance information analyzing method that can automatically and properly exclude a sound unneeded for retrieval from any kind of musical performance data, the musical performance information analyzing method, and a musical performance information analyzing device.SOLUTION: Filtering conditions ((a), (b)) for indicating musical performance data to be removed with respect to timbre are prepared corresponding to the timbre, a filtering condition corresponding to timbre allocated to musical performance data of object musical performance information is selected once the musical performance data is determined, and musical performance data to be excluded is determined by applying the filtering condition to the musical performance data, so that the determined musical performance data is excluded from the musical performance data.
