PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scent-lingering silk capable of absorbing a fragrance component, and excellent in sustained release properties, long-lasting properties and washing durability of the absorbed fragrance component, and to provide a method for evaluating a fragrance component evaporating from a solid silk containing the fragrance component.SOLUTION: There is provided a scent-lingering silk comprising a solid and dry silk comprising a fragrance component subjected to preliminary freezing followed by lyophilization, and a silk fibroin selected from a silk fibroin from an indoor silkworm, a silk fibroin from a wild silkworm, and a composite of a silk fibroin from an indoor silkworm and a silk fibroin from a wild fibroin; a method for producing thereof; and a method for detecting a main component of a fragrance component in a scent-lingering silk using GC-MS.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
