PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foamable polystyrene-based resin particle which provides a foam molding high in strength, reduces the molding cycle, suppresses peeling of a high cycle agent from a resin particle and has good flowability.SOLUTION: A foamable polystyrene-based resin particle comprises a polystyrene-based resin (A), a foaming agent (B) and a triglyceride (C) of a fatty acid with glycerol based on a 6-11C fatty acid, in a content of the triglyceride (C) of 0.01 pt.mass or higher and lower than 0.3 pt.mass to 100 pts.mass of the polystyrene-based resin (A).
