PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sunlight illumination device that continuously supplies sunlight to an illumination part during daytime by changing the attitude of a reflection plate with movement of the sun.SOLUTION: A sunlight illumination device includes: a drive unit that rotates a reflector 1 reflecting sunlight with respect to two axes; a sunlight detection device that confirms whether reflection light of sunlight reflected by the reflector 1 heads for a target light reception body 2; and a drive control unit that operates when light volume detected by a light volume detector 50 for detecting the light volume of sunlight is necessary light volume or more, and controls the drive unit so that the reflection light faces the target light reception body 2 by utilizing the direction of the reflection light confirmed by the sunlight detection device.
