PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rope groove measurement device capable of easily measuring the amount of a residue of a rope groove of a sheave, around which a rope is wound, even at a narrow place.SOLUTION: A rope groove measurement device 20 includes: a spherical member 11 having the substantially same diameter as a diameter of a rope; a rod-like member 12 penetrating the center of the spherical member 11; a holding member 13 for holding the spherical member 11 at an arbitrary position of the rod-like member 12; and an L-shaped bracket 21 including an action part 22 to which the rod-like member 12 is installed, and an operation part 23 which a worker operates. The worker holds the operation part 23, moves the action part 22 to the vicinity of a sheave having a rope groove to be measured, and measures the amount of a residue of the rope groove by operating the operation part 23 so as to press the spherical member 11 on the rope groove.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
