PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate measurement of a shutter time lag of a camera.;SOLUTION: Switching operation switching i pieces of display elements to an (m+1)-th display pattern is sequentially executed by switching the i pieces of display elements to an m-th display pattern by bringing (i-j) pieces of display elements into a second display state darker than a first display state while bringing j pieces of display elements out of a display section provided with the i pieces of display elements into the first display state, and by bringing k pieces of display elements out of the (i-j) pieces of display elements in the second display state in the m-th display pattern into the first display state while bringing the k pieces of display elements out of the j pieces of display element in the first display state in the m-th display pattern into the second display state when pattern continuation time T_P has elapsed. A camera images the display section sequentially executing the switching operation corresponding to shutter operation being synchronized with the switching operation and applied to the camera.
