PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a target assembly for an x-ray source, a rotary X-ray emission target and an X-ray source capable of being operated at energy of up to the maximum 500 kV and beyond.SOLUTION: A target plate 560 having a form of an annular section is fixed to an outer edge part 511 of a target hub 500 and substantially forms an annular target region. The target plate 560 is clamped to the target hub 500 at each plate's relative position on the inside in a radial direction and has a target part 565, which protrudes into a target region with respect to the target hub 500, relatively on the outside in the radial direction from the position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 12A
