PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily prepare a masking document.SOLUTION: A document preparation support device that performs a document preparation support process for an input character string, includes: replacement-object candidate detection processing means which performs first retrieval of whether a first word included in the input character string forward coincides with a secret word in a secret word database, and registers a coincident secret word as a replacement-object candidate; replacement-object detection processing means which performs second retrieval of whether a combined word obtained by combining a second word following the first word and included in the input character string with the first word until reaching the word constitution number of the secret word of the replacement-object candidate and registers the secret word of the coincident replacement-object candidate as a secret word of a replacement object; and masking document preparation means which generates a masking document file by replacing the secret word of the replacement object in an original document file having the input character string as it is with a replacement word corresponding to the secret word.
